• WinningWinning means finishing. You can do 25% or 95% of the work, but without finishing it is all worth 0%. We complete what we say we'll do, plus one more. We win with the right strategy and swift execution; one without the other doesn't win.

You have a curious mind and commit to leveraging available resources in the pursuit of greater knowledge and improved skills every day.
• Relentless UrgencyMake the call, send the email, do the next thing, now. Fear and anxiety delay the very actions that avoid the downside we're worried about. This isn't reckless action; it's taking the prudent action now, not in ten minutes. Need 5–7 bids? Don't call 10 subs, call 25. The time between actions takes longer than the actions themselves, and a meeting to discuss a problem takes longer than the call that solves it. You are a high agency person, use your best judgment.
• InnovationThe way things have always been done is a warning, not an endorsement. We see a process as the cleanest path to the outcome we want, and the best path often comes from outside our industry. Clearly defined company-wide processes and consistent accountability are what give us the freedom to innovate. Challenge why we do things a certain way, from first principles, but stay accountable to the company process until it's changed. Innovation can be a whole new approach, or it can be iteration: improving our processes, company-wide, one step at a time.
